Global Update 6.0
Master announces the availability of the update to version 6.0 of all the software of the UNA Automation system.
Among the new features included in the 6.0 versions we highlight:
- Support for the new access control devices “Difra2” (NFC card reader) and “Tasha” (badge pocket for NFC cards).
- New element “Virtual keyboard“: a numeric code keypad, useful for example to start PIN-protected scenarios or for use in hotel accesses.
- New element “DMX512 light”, to control dimmable single color DMXlamps.
- New element “Virtual status indicator“, for signals not connected to card inputs or outputs
- Newhotel managementsystem, now more flexible, with support for common parts and multi-reception.
- Possibility in Lapis to move cards together from one bus to another in Vesta.
- Generic integration of the Modbusprotocol, through the Clavis Modbus adapter.
- Specific integration of some Modbus heat pump models: Samsung, Fujitsu, Daikin, LG, Clivet.
- Integration, via an external controller, of DALItechnology lamps.
- Possibility (with firmware update) to connect the MicroTherma card to a temperature sensor, and Iris to a clean contact button.
In addition, the following new features have also been added to SideraHome:
- The user can independently change the name and transparency of the objects in maps and categories.
- The administrator user can create up to 100 secondary users, limiting the visible maps and deciding which options they are allowed to modify.
- If there are no maps in the Lapis project, a white and empty one is automatically shown with all the objects present in the connection panels.
- Sending UNA protocol statistics to SideraWeb, to remotely monitor malfunctions of cards or wiring.
Warnings:
a) the versions of Lapis, Vesta and Tosca / WinVisus must be aligned to communicate with each other. We recommend that you always update everything to the latest version available. –
b) the update packages of the Vesta card are distinguished between Vesta and Vesta2. They are not interchangeable with each other, but Lapis will automatically propose the right package according to the Vesta card found on the net.
c) do not update Vesta which have two front green LEDs and which have a serial lower than EF008C. Contact the Master Assistance Service in this case.
For installers, all new software downloads are downloadable from the Support section of the SideraWeb site.
Google Home or Alexa?
From today the UNA Automation home system is compatible with Google Home ™ and Alexa, the new home voice assistants signed by Google and Amazon. At any time, you can say phrases like: “Hey Google, ask Domotica UNA to turn on the kitchen light”, or “Alexa, ask Domotica Master to start watering in the garden” to manage all the functions that the domologica UNA Automation makes it available to your home. All in natural language and hands-free, without the need for smartphones or tablets in your pocket.
If you already own a UNA Automation home automation system, access the SideraWeb portal and check how to request activation of the UNA Voice Add-in service. With a single activation you can choose which voice assistant to use: Google Home, Amazon Alexa or even both.
Use UNA Automation with Google Home™!
Now your UNA Automation domologic system is compatible with Google Home™, the new home voice assistant signed by Google. At any time, you can say “Hey Google, ask Domotica UNA to turn on the kitchen light”, or “Okay Google, ask Domotica ONE to start the garden irrigation” to manage all the functions that the UNA Automation makes available to your home. All in natural language and hands-free, without the need for a smartphone or tablet in your pocket.

The update version 5.4 of all the Master softwares related to UNA system is available.
The new version includes:
- Support for the new main board Vesta2 (art. HM02000), that replaces the previous one with more powerful hardware, more reactive bus communication, internal historic power saving, reset buttons, and more
- Enhanced irrigation manager (now also on SideraHome and SideraWeb)
- Customizable load detachment order also available on SideraHome and SideraWeb
- Improved ‘Configure network elements’ screen in Lapis
- Added new virtual Counter element, for numeric operations
- Added French translation of Lapis / Tosca / WinVisus
- Correction of bugs
Global software update to version 5.3 is available.
A new update to the 5.3 version of all the Master softwares related to Una system is available.
The new version includes:
- – a new “rear-lightening element”, to be matched to “Priscilla” UNA board (item HL21600)
- – better support to Iris UNA board (infrared transmission)
- – integration of the Nilan Compact S heating/cooling unit
- – bug fixing.

Technical manual now available
The UNA technical manual is now available, for installers and system integrators: a tool that contains the main technical features, the concepts of programming and wiring of all the UNA system components and compatible equipments.

The new SideraWeb: everything new but the name!
Master introduces the new Sideraweb, the system for remote management of the Domologic home automation installation for UNA clients and for installers.
The new Sideraweb is characterized by a simple and improved interface, and is replacing the already on-line service since the year 2009, as it was already done with the new SideraHome. It guarantees a great experience also using mobile devices with small screens.
Some of the new features of SideraWeb are:
- Control of your consumption of energy for each actuation, you can even control the Usage Report, the details about how much energy was used and the backup for consumption records in Vesta board.
- Integration of security camera systems, now you can see all the IP cameras with remote control without additional other devices.
- A set of tools for diagnostics of the installation and for teleassistance, These instruments help the installer and the technical assistance team, when they are allowed by the owners to verify the home automation system remotely.
The new SideraWeb replaces the old version from September 2014, keeping the same address and same login account for the owners of the installation. The restyling of SideraWeb is a sign of the steady attention that Master is giving to its customers and users, also after the sales stage, with attention to the Home & Building solutions.

UNA Mobile Android app
After UNA Mobile for iPhone and iPad, Android’s application version is also available to manage your UNA home automation system from home or from anywhere in the world!
The new app is downloadable from GooglePlay and can be installed on smartphones and Tablets with Android operating system version 2.3 or higher. Allows the owners of a UNA domicile facility to enable control over their Android device through the WiFi connection of the home, or through the Internet (requires a public IP).
